Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the PassAutomate application ("the Application") operated by PassAutomate, Inc. ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Application is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Application.

By accessing or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Application.

1. Application License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download and use the Application for your personal or business purposes.

2. Use of the Application

PassAutomate is designed to automate the password reset and change process for web accounts. You agree to use the Application only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your master password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the Application may require a subscription. By subscribing to PassAutomate, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fees as they become due. We may modify subscription fees upon notice, and such modifications will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars. You are responsible for all taxes associated with your subscription.

4. Security Considerations

While PassAutomate implements advanced security measures including AES-256 encryption, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to overcome those measures. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.

We recommend that you maintain offline backups of your password database and regularly update your master password to maintain security.

5. Data Storage and Transmission

PassAutomate is designed to store sensitive data locally on your device with zero-knowledge architecture. Your master password and encrypted data are not transmitted to our servers in an unencrypted state. However, you acknowledge that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Third-Party Services

PassAutomate integrates with third-party websites and services to provide password automation functionality. You acknowledge that:

• We are not responsible for the practices of third-party websites or services
• Your use of such websites or services may be subject to their terms of service and privacy policies
• We cannot guarantee compatibility with all third-party websites and services

7. Intellectual Property

The Application and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PassAutomate, Inc. and its licensors. The Application is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both France, the European Union, and other applicable jurisdictions.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of PassAutomate, Inc.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Application will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Application.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PassAutomate, Inc., nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Application
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Application
• Any content obtained from the Application
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
• Password reset operations performed by the Application, including any issues with website compatibility or changes to third-party services

10. Disclaimer

Your use of the Application is at your sole risk. The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Application is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

PassAutomate, Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that:

• The Application will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• The Application is free of viruses or other harmful components
• The Application will be compatible with all websites or will successfully automate all password resets

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of France and the European Union, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Application after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Application.
